Player Abilities:

  • Wolf Transformation:

    • This ability allows the player to turn into a wolf with their assigned coat colors. The coat colors will allow werewolves to determine each other's archetype and detect when someone doesn’t “belong”.

  • Night Vision:

    • This ability is very simple and provides better vision in dark areas.

  • Super Strength (PVE):

    • Provides additional melee strength when engaging in combat with humans (NPCs)

  • Self Health Regen:

    • Allows the user to heal themselves when significant damage is taken. However, This is much slower than the vampire health regen, to enforce connection to the Silvani archetype which has the ability to heal others much faster.

  • Howl of Terror (PVE):

    • This power can be executed in wolf form only. It clears a radius around the wolf by sending a violent wave of force to push humans away.

  • Moon Scent (PVP):

    • Allows the player to detect the presence and placement of nearby players and humans and mark the, on the minimap.

  • Living Shadow (PVP):

    • This ability allows Rebelle wolves to split off into several copies of themselves as a diversion or distraction to an enemy.

  • Blizzard Frost (PVP):

    • Blizzard frost allows Nivali wolves to create a snow storm that freezes other players in place for a short period of time.

  • Gift of Healing (PVP):

    • The gift of healing allows Silvani wolves the ability to heal other wolves at an accelerated rate. It draws power from the moon and provides a radius that anyone may enter and receive health boosts.

  • Speed Invisibility:

    • The power to turn invisible and navigate at increased speeds while invisible.

  • Super Jump:

    • Additional upward boost when jumping, gives enough leverage to jump to midlevel rooftops.

Metabolism

Flesh

Werewolves track Flesh and rage separately from normal hunger, thirst, stamina, and health. Flesh is required to survive and activate powers. Death empties flesh and starts rage accumulation.

Increases when feeding, empties upon death/crit condition

Rage

Increases when with certain types of feeding or when Flesh core is empty

01

Feeding Methods

Eat Alive Humans

Vericanis may feed on living humans while in human form. This adds flesh to the core and helps the wolf maintain control.

Eat Dead Humans

In wolf form, Vericanis may consume dead humans for flesh gain. However, the taste of decaying flesh increases rage.

Eat Dead Animals

Wolves may feed on dead animals while in wolf form. This provides flesh without triggering wolfsbane poisoning.

02

Flesh Core

All feeding methods add flesh to the Vericanis core. Flesh is required to sustain the wolf and activate most werewolf abilities.

03

Rage Effects

Rage Accumulation

Going too long without flesh causes rage to build. Once rage reaches dangerous levels, the wolf begins to lose health.

Decaying Flesh

Eating dead humans increases rage because of the taste of decay, making it useful but dangerous.

04

Wolfsbane & Antidotes

Poisoned Humans

Humans may be tainted with wolfsbane, poisoning the werewolf upon feeding. This can happen in or out of wolf form.

Poisoning Effects

Wolfsbane gradually drains health and persists until the correct antidote is consumed.

Animal Safety

Animals do not trigger wolfsbane poisoning, making them a safer but less dramatic feeding source.

Random Risk

Poisoning is random, and there is no way to know when it will happen before feeding.

Full Script Features

01

Flesh & Rage Cores

Vericanis metabolism is tracked through two custom cores: Flesh and Rage. These monitor flesh intake and instability separately from regular metabolism.

02

Flesh Dependency

Flesh is required to activate most werewolf abilities. Death empties the flesh core and immediately causes rage to accumulate.

03

Rage Accumulation

Going too long without flesh causes rage to rise. Once rage reaches its threshold, the wolf begins losing health.

04

Feeding Methods

Eat Alive Humans

Used in human form to gain flesh and sustain the Vericanis core.

Eat Dead Humans

Used in wolf form for flesh gain, but decaying flesh increases rage.

Eat Dead Animals

Used in wolf form as a safer option that does not trigger wolfsbane poisoning.

05

Wolf Transformation

Vericanis can transform into assigned wolf forms. Coat colors help identify archetype and reveal when someone does not belong.

06

Wolf Attack Sequence

While in wolf form, wolves can perform realistic attack sequences against NPCs and players.

07

Wolf Size & Scale

Wolves are scaled to a large cinematic model, giving them a stronger and more intimidating visual presence.

08

Wolfsbane & Antidotes

Humans may be tainted with wolfsbane. Feeding from them poisons the werewolf, gradually drains health, and requires the correct antidote.

09

Moon Phases

Each in-game day progresses through dynamic moon phases. Werewolves keep control during most phases, but control slips as the full moon approaches.

10

Forced Moonshifting

Around 11 PM during the full moon, the wolf begins transforming against their will through collapse, pain, and rage.

11

Full Moon Trial

During full moon rage, a survival minigame appears. Success restores control and clears rage. Failure causes death after reverting to human form.

12

Wolf Animation Menu

Vericanis have access to an animal animation menu while in wolf form, allowing deeper roleplay immersion.
