House Power, Rivalry & Crown Estate Control
The Nobilis Noble House system allows players to join official noble families, complete contracts, gain influence, unlock upgrades, form rivalries, and compete for control of the Crown Estate.
A Living Noble Society
Noble houses are not just titles or roleplay labels. Each house functions as an active political organization with members, progression, responsibilities, competition, and influence.
Families rise and fall based on activity, strategy, loyalty, and performance.
How Players Join
Players visit the Noble Registration Kiosk during an open registration period. If registration is active, they may join an available noble house and begin building their family’s presence.
Member Contribution
Every member contributes to the success of their house. Strong houses need active members, leadership, organized planning, and the ability to respond to rival activity.
The Noble Competition Loop
Each cycle begins with registration and ends with one noble house rising above the rest to become the Master House.
Register
Players join available noble houses during the registration period.
Compete
Houses complete contracts, earn influence, monitor rivals, and climb rankings.
Upgrade
Families purchase upgrades that improve strategy, awareness, and competition.
Rule
The highest-ranking house becomes the Master House and controls the Crown Estate.
The Highest Position
The Crown Estate is the highest achievement a noble house can earn during a cycle. The winning family becomes the ruling house for that period, gaining public recognition, political authority, and a defined place in the noble hierarchy.
Control is not permanent by default. It must be earned through continued participation and competition.
House Missions
Contracts are house-based missions that require members to leave their estate, complete objectives, and represent their family in the world.
These missions may involve travel, escorting, recovering items, meeting informants, or completing noble duties. Contracts create movement, risk, conflict, and opportunity.
Influence, Upgrades & Rival Activity
House Upgrades
As houses progress, they can unlock upgrades that provide strategic advantages. These upgrades help families track rivals, protect interests, and develop unique strategies.
Snitch Network
The Snitch Network warns a house when rival families begin or progress through contracts. It can show an approximate activity area on the map, giving the house enough information to investigate, respond, or interfere.
Dynamic Activity Markers
As a rival house moves through contract stages, the marked area can update to reflect the newest activity location. Multiple active contracts may appear in different colors.
Rivalries
Rival houses may compete for ranking, interfere with contracts, challenge authority, or weaken another family’s influence through alliances, betrayal, threats, and negotiation.
Rankings
Rankings show which houses are leading and which are falling behind. Contract success, activity, progress, and performance help determine who earns the Crown Estate.
Political Pressure
Noble competition becomes more than a leaderboard. It creates spying, ambushes, strategy, pressure, and long-term political tension between families.
Rise, Fall, Scheme, and Fight for Power
Players register into noble houses during the registration period. Once enough houses are filled, the competition cycle begins. Houses complete contracts, earn influence, purchase upgrades, monitor rivals, interfere with enemy activity, and compete for higher ranking.
When the cycle ends, the highest-ranking house becomes the Master House and takes control of the Crown Estate.
